currently, i have a lenovo legion 7i, dual booting windows 11 and arch linux. i mainly use niri + noctalia shell as my desktop environment, but i also have kde plasma (wayland) installed for ease of use in case something goes wrong
my editor of choice for most things and especially c & c++ is vim in a terminal. my favorite terminal that i've used is kitty, since the configuration is pretty easy to do
my editor of choice for specifically html, css, & js is vs code with an extension to give me vim keybinds. even when i'm off vim, it's just easier to use vim keybinds
